Exploration of the colour white, trying to depict changes in tone and colour when really there isn't any (although this is achieved through utilising different tones of white.) White becomes a colour in itself, not just the absence of colour. I created an interesting line and from through wrinkling thin paper up and sticking that on top of a white base, using light and shadow to build form up and create the piece. It becomes both minimal yet detailed at the same time, and forces a greater understanding of the dynamics of the colour (alongside creating tones of white through adding minuscule amounts of colour). I would revisit this in the future as it forces a new point of view when creating with colour and has formed an interesting surface texture-wise and aesthetically.
